State-of-the-art Venue
The Swain Arts Center auditorium has hosted a variety of performances, large and small, from intimate one-person shows to stage shows to dance recitals and music concerts. Each of the auditorium's 444 seats is a premium seat with excellent viewing and sound.
Chi Town Transit Authority
This tribute band from Atlanta rocked the house with a complete Chicago concert experience for two shows on Memorial Day Weekend in 2023.
Darkside Belly Dance
The Swain Arts Center has hosted this charity belly dance event for multiple years featuring dancers from three states.
High School Musicals
Every year, since it's opening in 2000, the Swain Arts Center has featured an amazing musical production by the students of Swain County High School. Fiddler on the Roof, The Wizard of Oz, Oklahoma and Willy Wonka are just a few of the wonderful shows to grace our stage.
Hobey Ford
Swain County Students were treated to the amazing puppetry of Hobey Ford as he performed his show, Animalia.
Reggie Harris
Reggie Harris is a regular visitor to our stage. Here he is performing his program, How Martin Climbed the Mountain for Swain County Students.
Brother
Local rock group, Brother, performed a benefit concert for the Swain High School Rock Band Club to raise funds to purchase band equipment.
