Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day

Sunday April 28, 2024

We will gather in the lobby of the Swain Arts Center from 2pm - 5pm.

We will be constructing our own pinhole cameras and then taking them outside to shoot photos with them. If time allows, we will then develop our photos.  You will be free to take your new camera home with you. In the days following this event, your photos will be framed and displayed in the lobby of the Swain Arts Center.

Things to bring with you....

This is a free event and most of the materials will be provided including a few spare shoe boxes so you really just need to show up and participate. Students under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Hold Still!

This image took over a minute to expose. It is only fitting that we shot our group photo with one of our pinhole camera creations.
